zero energy travel

The concept of zero energy travel had started when I analyzed the energy flow diagrams in a car. So I use the date at which the energy equations were finalised in the file 20% hybrid car spreadsheet. The date was 16th of April, 2011 at 12:54 pm Malaysian time. I can't remember the exact moment any more but this date is only a few days later, at most.

The pictures belows shows how you can travel trans-atlantic with zero energy using just gravity.

You can also do it using electrical energy. In fact I had been fascinated by electrical to mechanical energy conversions since I graduated with my BSc in 1981. In my subconscious state, I know that it was lossless conversion but I was trained to take into account the various losses in resistance and magnetic properties so the possibility of lossless energy conversions was far from my mind and I dismiss these thoughts without much consideration.

However these thoughts on lossless electrical energy conversions keep on bothering me. There are too many inconsistencies in the flow of thoughts that I finally decided to study once and for all. The incentive came when I decided to join the PEREKA 2011 organised by my University, the Universiti Malaysia Sabah. I used the opportunity to put down into paper and spreadsheets all the relevant calculations. The virtual car design website was also most helpful in M. Safoutin's web page the "Virtual Car Home Page". It allowed me to play with various parameters.

I tried to publish these ideas in publications. I know that it cannot be published in journals because of its simplicity but because it is important for society, these ideas must be conveyed to professionals and students. I had approached a few professionals and professors. Almost all of them dismiss this concept without much study. The excuse has been the thermodynamics equations that disallow lossless energy conversion but these are only for heat machines. It is not surprising that it will be very difficult for peers to accept this very simple but completely correct concepts, that it does not require any energy to travel from one place to another. The paradox is that communicating and thinking will always consum energy, which is contrary to what we experience in our daily lives.

You can get a more detailed explanation in my article at arxiv.org. Arxiv.org is a pre-publication archive. I need to convey the message as quickly as I can. There is no time to wait for formal publications and peer review for such an important concept as "zero energy travel". Just search in google for "zero energy travel". arxiv.org/pdf/1109.3764 may be inaccessible because I had replaced it with a new version just now.
